Our Philosophy

New Hope Christian Community was formed to serve persons with mental and physical handicaps who desire to live in an environment where they can develop to their fullest potential. These individuals share the same basic need as all of us: to be loved and accepted as they are.

"Whatever you did for the least of   these my brothers, you did for me."

- Jesus
  Mathew 25:40

A Community of Hope

New Hope Christian Community was formed to answer these questions and to help ease the worries that parents feel. Founders, Jim and Eileen Kruse, Gary and Pat Faust and John and Janet Watkins, are couples who know first-hand the challenges and struggles of raising children with disabilities. New Hope will be a home-like residential care facility where young adults with disabilities can be cared for and nurtured throughout their lives. It will be a Christian community where they can grow into their full potential, surrounded by love and a place where a parent can feel at ease about their young adult being loved, nurtured and accepted for who they are.

A Community of Love

You can help to make this dream a reality. A New Hope Christian Community is being planned for Missouri, a loving community where individuals with disabilities can lead rewarding lives, and are nurtured and cared for with the support of an onsite resident director and a staff of professional caregivers. Life is too precious to be allowed to wither away. With your help and prayers, we can build a community where each resident’s personal, spiritual and vocational potential is nurtured and met with unconditional Christian love, where a parent no longer has to worry about who will love their child. Please consider making a donation to help us make this dream a reality. With your prayers and support, we will build homes and hope.
